We have several options available in both Block and C++ Coding We look forward to showing you just how much fun can be had with Arduino and coding!
This introductory session is the perfect way to dive into robotics using the Arduino micro-processor and easy-to-learn block coding.
Whether you’re a total beginner or just curious about coding, this hands-on experience will have you exploring the exciting world of robotics in no time.
No prior experience needed. Two finger typing and mouse skills is all that is required.
For participants under 12, an adult must accompany them.
$40 for the one hour session. All equipment supplied.
This one hour session provides an opportunity to experience the fun you can have with robotics using the Arduino micro-processor and C++ style of coding. This session is best suited to those who want to learn robotics and are proficient in typing. Similar to coding with Python, this session gives an opportunity to try something different and experience the satisfaction of building and coding your first robotics project.
Absolutely no previous experience in coding required.
For participants under 12, an adult must accompany them.
$40 for the one hour session. All equipment supplied.
This 90 minute workshop will teach the basics of soldering as participants put together a InfraRed Signal Detector that they will be able to take away with them at the end of the session.
No previous experience required.
Participants under 12 are asked to be accompanied by an adult who is encouraged to participate with their children at no additional cost.
$50 for the 90min session
All equipment supplied.
Our engaging robotics courses are hands-on activity based learning, giving participants the skills and practice they need to be able to engineer and code their own robotic projects.
There are no age limits, but ask that those under the age of 12 are accompanied by an adult at no extra charge. Anyone with basic keyboard and mouse skills will be able to follow along with our courses. We find the average and earliest age is around 8-9 years for the best learning experience.
We have courses to suit all ages and abilities and look forward to sharing the enjoyment that robotics can bring.
This foundational Course is aimed at participants who may have little to no experience in microprocessor programming.
The aim of this seven-week course is to empower participants with enough knowledge to make their own robotics projects using block-coding and the Arduino microprocessor.
Each week we walk you through building and coding a new project, building the fundamental knowledge a little more each week. Participants have so much fun with these projects, they rarely realise they are learning.
$55 per session
All equipment supplied.
This course continues on from the Fundamentals course and adds more complex devices and methods to achieve more with the Arduino microprocessor.
This eight-week course continues to use block-coding and was created to satisfy the hunger to learn more and do more, of the participants from the Fundamentals course.
Starting 12th February, Thursdays 6.30pm-8pm for 8 weeks
$55 per session
All equipment supplied
This course shows participants how to program the Arduino using the native C-based language of the Arduino IDE.
Fundamental digital theory is included in the course. This is a good starting point for those who have an interest in robotics and who have basic typing skills.
This course tends to attract individuals aged 13 years and above but is not restricted to this age.
Starting 14th February, Saturdays 11am-12.30pm for 7 weeks
$55 per session

Online courses are conducted via Zoom and cover the same content as all the courses.
These sessions require participants to have their own computer with the Arduino and Ardublock software installed, and a Techspace Learning Arduino Kit.
These can be purchased by contacting us at info@techspacelearning.org. Once purchased, this custom kit can be picked up in the Adelaide CBD, or can be mailed to anywhere in Australia for an additional cost.
In the event that the course is not what was expected, the kit can be returned to us for a refund. The Techspace Learning Arduino kit has all the components required for the Fundamental courses (six weeks). A Techspace Learning Extension kit is required for the Intermediate and Advanced courses.
Helping young minds grow with creativity, confidence, and real-world tech skills.
Our team brings together experienced educators, tech professionals, and youth mentors who know how to support different learning styles and abilities. Every child feels seen, welcomed, and encouraged.
From robotics to coding to digital design, our sessions are built around curiosity and problem-solving — not lectures. Kids learn by building, experimenting, and discovering what they’re capable of.
We prioritise emotional safety, confidence building, and teamwork. TechSpace is a community where every child belongs and is encouraged to explore their unique strengths.

What stands out most is how supported my child feels. The mentors create such a safe, welcoming environment. It’s not just tech skills — it’s resilience, teamwork, and pride.

TechSpace has transformed screen time into something meaningful. Instead of scrolling, my son is building, exploring, and asking questions. It’s been the best investment we’ve made.
